A new season on The Farm
The goldenrod is beginning to bloom, the bees are busily preparing for winter, and the gardens are struggling to recover from the scorching summer we have had here on the ridge. These last few growing seasons have really pushed us to change the way we plant the gardens. Plants that once thrived in full sun now benefit from late afternoon shade. The pest pressure has amplified. Time to transition into a new season...and this year, that has a deeper meaning.
Building community, providing practical solutions, and teaching others to get back to the basics, connect to where their food comes from, and pursue health functionally is our passion.
Fall planting, pasture prep, hay buying, market planning, and preparation for some very exciting additiions to the farm are underway. Fall prep makes way for winter rest. We'll spend this season preparing not only the farm, but our bodies for the long winter. We'd love for you to join us!
